Each machine has two hydraulic vises: one is a fixed vise and is located near the saw blade; the other is mounted on a mobile carriage with a reach of 500 mm.
The material to be cut is held by the vise mounted on the trolley.
The PLC (Programmable Logic Control) is manufactured by Telemecanique and provides up to 10 different cutting programs, including cutting length and number of parts to be cut.
With this system, the machine can be programmed for the next program even while running the current program.
The accuracy of the cutting length is ensured by means of a Newall magnetic measuring scale, which is impervious to dirt, oil, grease, chips and other substances.
The center of rotation of the mitre is the intersection of the saw blade and the fixed jaw of the vise; and this ensures that there is no change at a different angular position.
