VLB profile bending machines are built to the highest mechanical requirements and with high-quality components. This allows us to guarantee excellence in everything we produce. This applies to the frame and shaft supports, which are made of high-definition laser- and plasma-cut components that are milled, turned, and machined with maximum stability in a single configuration in our latest machining center with DAS+ technology.
The result leaves no doubt: a robust, extremely durable, geometrically rigorous and stable structure!
The shafts are made of high-quality steel (42CrMo4), milled on state-of-the-art CNC lathes, heat-treated for high hardness (54-56 hours), and then polished. The shafts are equipped with self-lubricating, self-aligning bearings, which guarantee excellent performance and virtually no deflection.
POWER IN EVERY SITUATION
A powerful hydraulic unit generates all the movements of the VLB profile bending machine. The rotation of the rollers is independent and is performed by three hydraulic motors coupled to planetary gearboxes.
This system generates resistance and control of profile bending, even under extreme pressure. The movements of the lateral guides are controllable in three directions to facilitate the bending process.
Traditional sectors where bent tubes and profiles are used include the energy sector, boiler and heat exchanger construction, wind turbines and oil platforms, marine and aerospace, transport pipelines, earthworks and technical constructions such as bridges, stadiums and buildings.
EASY TO USE AND GUARANTEED REPEATABILITY
All movements are controlled from a separate central unit and data is displayed in real time on a digital screen.
Depending on the application, VLB 3-roll profile bending machines can be equipped with two types of control: CNC control with a teach-in system or full CNC control for machining complex and difficult curves.
Folding rolls for every situation
Our profile bending machines are equipped as standard with a set of universal rollers. A wide range of standard profiles can be rolled with this modular tooling by combining different rollers.
For specific bending or rolling applications, our technical department possesses extensive knowledge and experience to develop the bending rollers necessary for bending any profile. These rollers are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
